Have you ever wondered what your toddler needs to learn or where to begin?; if so then; I have the product for you and it is FREE. The toddler interactive binder has all of the essential skills that are developmentally appropriate. Toddlers need simple activities that are fun and engaging. These skills are best learned through repetition to achieve mastery.
If you choose the toddler interactive binder for your little one together we can make learning fun and easy. There are three types of activities in the binder: matching, tracing, and playdough. Now is the time to stop second-guessing your teaching method or parenting approach to learning. Success starts HERE and NOW.
There are a variety of interactive things to do with toddlers including matching, tracing, and playdough. Each type of activity goes into detail later in this post. What types of activities are interactive? In the toddler interactive binder, there is a color identification activity that involves circling the two objects that have the same color. This activity builds sorting skills while working on colors.
Today’s weather will have your toddler use their knowledge of weather to circle the weather that matches what they see outside. This activity helps build basic knowledge of seasons and science skills. There is a second weather-related interactive activity named I Spy weather; this activity will help build counting and sorting skills.
Your kids will be able to label and circle their own emotions for the day with the I feel activity. This will help them develop emotional identification that will lead to the ability to regulate their own emotions in a healthy manner.
First there is matching activities can seem like a simple task and not important; however; matching skills help to teach sorting skills with similar objects, builds attention to tasks, and works on problem-solving skills. Some of the toddler binder activities for matching include colors, making patterns, shapes, weather icons, emotions, and the alphabet. These activities will help promote the skills labeled above as well as language skills with you and your toddler when interacting with the activities.
Secondly; playdough activities in the toddler interactive binder will help promote fine motor, creativity, and problem-solving skills, Your toddler will learn how to make shapes, prewriting lines, and the alphabet while manipulating the playdough to create these objects.
Fine motor skills might seem like not a big deal however these skills when not developed over time can cause hardship when in school with handwriting skills. Using play dough is one tool that will help your toddler to build their hand strength now and in the future.
Young children will not notice that they are working on such important skills; they will only notice that they are having a lot of fun and learning at the same time.
Lastly;,tracing activities in the toddler interactive binder will promote writing skills and build confidence. This skill is vital to build the proper strength in the hand to be able to have the proper pencil and grip for school. These tracing activities are basic with arrows to teach basic concepts of handwriting and how to write letters. Some of the activities are tracing shapes, tracing lines of various movements, and alphabet tracing. This skill is one that is developed over time and with repetition. Through repetition of tracing and as the hand muscles grow stronger this skill will become easier.
To make the toddler learning binder you will need a 2-inch binder, page protectors for longevity, and velcro dots. Other suggested items are dry erase markers and playdough. You do not need many markers but I would suggest some with colors to give your toddler options. I also suggest a small tub of playdough you do not need a big container. An extra item for storage of the playdough and dry erase markers would be a pencil holder that can go into a three-ring binder. This way you can travel with the binder to have a quiet interactive activity for your toddler on the go.
